Much of my work is inspired by natural organisms defense mechanisms and physical remnants left behind after they have served their purpose. I am extremely inspired by long walks along the coast of Maine and much of what of the designs that I create comes from a nostalgic love for all of the natural detritus that I happen to collect on those walks. This particular design is inspired by antlers left along those pine and sea scented trails. I carve my master model from wax in the attempt to capture the spirit of the natural specimen as truly as possible. Once I feel that I have replicated natures design, I cast each piece in silver or gold and finish by hand. This design comes in an 18 or 22 inch sturdy chain.
